Advancing energy efficiency and sustainability with scientific rigor and a passion for sharing knowledge.

My short bio
I hold a PhD in Civil Engineering.
In 2006, I co-founded ETRES Consultores, where I serve as CEO and Technical Lead.
Since 2008, I have combined my professional work with teaching as an associate professor at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche.
I am also actively involved in the civil society of my city, Elche – Spain, and currently have the honor of serving as President of the ICIE Institute.
This website is not a showcase of services but a personal space to share experience and knowledge.
My goal is to support fellow professionals and —why not?—continue learning from your contributions through the blog.
Research, outreach and reflections on energy savings and sustainability in buildings
This site brings together three key areas of my work: (1) scientific research on energy savings and sustainable building, (2) outreach through the podcast “Con Buena Energía”, and (3) a personal blog where I share reflections and experiences on projects, regulations and tools. All the content is focused on providing verified data, practical examples, professional experience and rigorous analysis, aimed both at construction professionals and at those who want to better understand how our buildings perform in terms of energy and comfort.

Research
Here you’ll find my doctoral thesis, scientific papers and applied studies on building energy simulation, airtightness, life cycle assessment (LCA) and carbon footprint, with a strong academic foundation and direct relevance to real projects.

Podcast
“Con Buena Energía” is a bi-weekly radio program produced in collaboration with EsRadio Elche and industry professionals. Its goal is to make technical information accessible, covering topics such as energy, utility bills, consumption and applied sustainability. All episodes are available here on demand.

Personal Blog – Insights
The blog is a free space where I share more personal articles: reflections on regulations, simulation tools and the future of building and energy savings. It is a place where technical knowledge, outreach and professional experience come together.
